Caribbean Blue Eye Makeup + Soft Lips

Hello beautifuls! I'm feeling a little blue-ish with this tutorial I'm going to share with you. It's an appropriate look for going to the club, the beach or any socializing event. I won't advocate this look for work though. Unless you are that one person who likes to go over the top. It was quite tough for me to put together the colors since I'm not that familiar with colorful makeup. I go more for the neutral kind of eyes. But it was fun getting out of my comfort zone and the blue really did compliment my eyes.

Coastal Scents 88 Original Eye shadow Palette

Step 1: Using the two brown shades (1 & 2) as the transition colors, blend it above the crease to create depth.

Step 2: Apply a white based primer or a concealer onto the eyelid only where the blue shadows will be added.

Step 3: Place the two brighter shadows (3 & 4) on the inner 2/3 of the eyelids.

Step 4: Using a deeper blue eye shadow (5), apply it on the outer third of the eyelid.

Step 5: Blend the two colors together going into the crease to get rid of any harsh lines.

Step 6: Next, smear the purple (6) on top of the deeper blue and blend it with the fingers.

Step 7: Repeat the steps on lower lash line as done on the eyelid. Place the golden-shimmery shadow (7) on the tear dot and the brow bone to brighten the eyes. Add a winged eyeliner and apply a black eyeliner on the waterline and smoke it out.

Step 8: Apply mascara and you're done!

A review was done on the Coastal Scents 88 Original Eye shadow Palette. A link will be below to view it. If you've have already read that review or you own the palette then you are aware that the bright colors are difficult to work with. I used a dollar store concealer which is by L.A. Colors. I have it in it's lightest shade and it is very sticky. It is the perfect product to work as a base for the brighter colors. The concealer isn't liquidy. It's more of a creamy texture. However, if you are using a liquid concealer then I suggest you wait for it be almost dry and then apply the colors onto it. There will be a huge chaos occurring with the concealer and the eye shadows. Do not set the primer or concealer after applying it because there will be no more sticky base for the shadows.

If you love wearing falsies then it will be a great addition to spice up the eyes some more. Hopefully, someday in the future I will begin to wear them but as of now I love showcasing my natural lashes.

Moving onto my favorite part, the lips!

L.A. Colors Jellie Gloss (Sassy), Verla International Ltd Lip Gloss,LA Colors Moisture Cream Lipstick (Sweets) and LA Girl Endless Semi Permanent Auto Lipliner Pencil (Wine)

Step 1: Apply the L.A. Colors Moisture Cream Lipstick on the inner rim of the lips.

Step 2: Blend the product onto the entire lips and line with the L.A. Girl Endless Semi Permanent Auto Lipliner Pencil.

Step 3: Place the pink tinted lip gloss all over the lips.

Step 4: Apply the L.A. Colors Jellie Gloss on the middle of the top and bottom lips.

Step 5: Rub the lips together to spread the lip gloss evenly.

Step 6: Voila! The look is complete.

I used a combination of lip products to create a soft lips since I wanted all the attention to be drawn to the eyes. I also have dark pigmented lips which creates another reason as to why I made the concussion. If you have lighter pigmented lips then just add some lip gloss or use any other neutral lip shade to compliment the look. Don't go too dramatic on the lips.

All  the products used are pretty affordable as usual.

$1.00 Liquid Lipstick

Being an affordable cosmetic brand, I am never disappointed of LA Colors. They amaze me when they launch a new lippie. I came across the LA Colors Pout Lip Gloss Matte and also Moisture Cream Lipstick while I was shopping makeup online. After realizing the price of the product is only $1.00, then I figured that it isn't no harm to try them and if I liked them I would spread the word. Knowing my love for lipsticks, especially matte ones, I couldn't wait to try these two products when they arrived. I'm going to get into details individually about the two lip products.

Getting a glimpse of the different gorgeous colors of the LA Colors Pout Lip Gloss Matte, I went crazy. It was quite a mission choosing just one color to put to test. I couldn't purchase all of the colors because I had no idea what were the pros and cons of the item at that moment. Now that I am aware, I will be adding more to my cart in the future. To tell the truth, I loved this product the instant I applied it to my lips. It lasted all day on my lips and passed through the process of eating and drinking. Unnecessarily, I kept on checking my lips because it looked that good and on point the entire day. I felt no dryness which I find in most liquid lipsticks and I am grateful for this.

LA Colors Pout Lip Gloss Matte in the color XOXO

I have said the good things. It's now time to enlighten you all about the disadvantages of the item. The product dries completely matte but yet it is quite sticky so I do not recommend pressing the lips together. The lip gloss appeared patchy on the lips. It's best to line and fill in the lips with a lip liner before applying the product. Does it transfer? It has a very light transfer. The product will remain the same on the lips. It doesn't transfer in an excessive amount in which it can be noticeable.

Never mind about the cons, I'm excited about it. It's not very often one can find a liquid lipstick that lasts long and looks expensive but it's just for $1.00. Links will be below to purchase and try this product.

Honestly, I wasn't so hype when I ordered the Moisture Cream Lipstick as I was for the lip gloss. I know that not every girl is thrilled about matte lipsticks so I considered buying a lipstick that isn't matte to give it a try. I am satisfied of the color I bought. The bright, fuchsia lipstick suits my skin tone perfectly. The packaging is simple yet classy. Rubbing on the lipstick onto my lips I could see that certain parts of my lips are still visible. However, the good news is after layering the product I couldn't see my lips. The Moisture Cream Lipstick is a sheen to glossy finish. This can be a matte finish also if you follow my tutorial on how to make your lipstick.

Moisture Cream Lipstick in the shade SWEETS

Of course, this lipstick wouldn't pass the eating and drinking test but I'm sure it will last for a fair amount of hours of the day. This product comes in a wide range of intense colors and also affordable. It's worth the money. Links will be below to get a hold of this beautiful lipstick.

Soft Brown Eyes + Bold Lips

Are you the type of girl, like me, where some days you are feeling bold lips or just a simple, neutral color on your lips? Today, I wanted to rock a bold lip and I also wanted to share the tutorial on my eye makeup and also how I did my lips. And seeing that I'm on the topic I'm going to share a little tip for my girls. When wearing bold lips keep the eyes soft or neutral. Personally, both bold eyes and lips is going overboard on the makeup. It's either keeping the eyes simple and the lips bold or vice versa. I've used affordable and long lasting products to create this beautiful look on my eyes and lips. The brands and makeup I've used to achieve the makeup look below are L.A. Girl Endless Semi Permanent Auto Lipliner Pencil (337 Wine), Ruby Kisses Lipstick(Heartbeat), City Color Be Bold 3x Extreme Volume Mascara, Elf Cream Eyeliner and Coastal Scents 88 Original Eye shadow Palette. Believe it or leave it, you don't have a lot of work to do and you'll be done in no time. To myself, I get my foundation done first and then my eyes and lips. It's up to you if wish to get your eyes finish first and then move onto the face and lips. All the links will be listed down below from the sites that I have purchased all the makeup products from.

The colors I used are highlighted with the makeup brushes. Bottom, left is the lighter brown. Top, right is the bronzed shimmery eyeshadow. Bottom right is the black and next to it is the deeper brown.

Apply the lighter shade of brown above the crease and blend, blend, blend.

Then applied the darker shade of brown onto the eyelid.

Afterwards, blend the darker shade into the crease to get rid of harsh lines.                                                        From crappy to well done. Just look at how important blending is.

You're not done as yet. Place the bronzed, shimmery eyeshadow                                                     onto the brow bone and on the tear dot.

Apply the black eyeshadow onto the lower lash line and smoke it out(optional).
Line the water line and apply eyeliner to finish and mascara to top everything off.

Outline the lips with the the L.A. Girl Endless Semi Permanent Auto Lipliner Pencil. The shade
used is a bit lighter than the actual lipstick color. If darker shade of brown is reachable then use it.

Apply the Ruby Kisses matte lipstick and voila!

If the darker brown on the eyelid doesn't pop up true to color on the palette then apply a white base onto the lid or a concealer of the lightest shade available. You can use it to also make other eye shadow colors pop more.

A review was already done on the Coastal Scents 88  Eye shadow Palette. You can go check it out at http://lamakeupaddict.blogspot.com/2016/04/coastal-scents-88-original-palette.html
I've been using it a lot more lately and it seems as though the browns in the palette are much more easier to blend than the other colors. I'm looking forward on a tutorial using the brighter colors. It's not in my comfort zone but I'm more than happier to get out of it and create a few tutorials for persons who likes to wear brighter colors. I'm going to take the chance to review the products as well that I've used for this tutorial.

As for the L.A. Girl Endless Semi Permanent Auto Lipliner Pencil is something you must have in your makeup collection. I'd prefer it over a lipstick any day. I've bought it for $US2.00. It's finish is matte, which I love and it can be worn alone without lipstick or make the finishing touches with a lip gloss. It glides on creamy and it last throughout the day without a budge.

Listen, if you are looking for matte lipsticks at an affordable price then I suggest you get yourself Ruby Kisses Matte Lipsticks. It is available for as low as $US2.99. They have a wide range of colors available. This is the only color I've purchased and I must say I'm looking forward to bringing more home. It goes on smooth and creamy and doesn't dry out your lips. It is long lasting but it does fades out when drinking or eating. This particular lipstick can replace all the high end lip products. You can even buy all the colors without breaking the bank.

My favorite mascara of all time is the City Color 3x volume mascara. This is my first bottle that I've got and I'm thinking this is the only mascara I'll be using from now on. It makes my lashes looks so wow. The formula is long-lasting, it doesn't flake when in application. The mascara wand is curved and the bristles are placed extremely close. This will comb through your lashes thoroughly and fan it out. You won't have clumpy-looking lashes. I like to use the inside part of the curve to place the product on.

My final review is on the Elf Cream Eyeliner. It comes in a few range of colors and I have it in black. It's not waterproof but it's long lasting. I like to set it with black eye shadow. It glides on like butter and dries relatively matte. It doesn't flake or have any fall outs when applying. I've own this for quite a while and doesn't show any sign of drying up in the container. It also comes with its very own brush to apply the product. I experience no problem with the brush but some people might because of the size of it.

KLEANCOLOR Your Highness Eyeshadow - High Maintenance - Smokey-Shimmer-Matte.

#Makeup is one of the all time trends these days and we all want to be in time and upkeep ourselves with the ongoing trends. If you think about it, makeup can really make you go broke if you're looking onto the expensive brands. Trust me, sometimes the cheaper brands are way more worth your money than Mac and all the other higher end brands. The dollars you can spend on those costly makeup lines, you can purchase yourself a full face of makeup from the drugstore with it. I'm a makeup addict but one that's on a budget and when affordable makeup products comes my way I make sure I get a good hold of it. I don't really own any expensive makeup. I don't see a reason to waste tons of money on them when I can achieve the same look with cheaper items.

The eyes are the windows to your soul so make sure they look the best. Now what can we add to our eyes to make them stand out? Eye shadow! It surely does enhances the look of the face especially when rocking a full face of makeup. There are all the colors in the world of eye shadows, all brands and all prices. But can you afford them all? I'm sure as hell I can't. I love eye shadows but I don't go too crazy with it. Just simple and enough to add a little glam.

Ever heard of a drugstore makeup brand by the name of KLEANCOLOR? They have all the makeup needed for the face from foundation to lipsticks to eye shadow. Their prices are really cheap. Today I am going to review and I also did eye makeup looks from their KLEANCOLOR Your Highness Eyeshadow - High Maintenance - Smokey-Shimmer-Matte. It has 8 magnificent colors that goes with any skin tone and that's more than enough colors you need to create more than one glam look. As much as I love makeup I rarely use it. Believe it or not that stuff goes on my face once a week or sometimes once in two weeks. Unbelievable! I know! It's a good thing though because I don't have to be investing in makeup all the time. This palette have been surviving with me for a year and seems like it will go another with using mostly the three same colors all the while. The cost of this palette is only US$2.99(GY$600) and you can get it right now at Beautyjoint.com. I did swatches of all the colors and created some looks below.

Swatches of all 8 eye shadows

Don't judge my eyebrows and if you are a fan of wearing false lashes then that would intensify the look more. I just don't like to go overboard that's why I rock my own lashes. And besides the first picture is my all time look and false lashes are not needed there. I have never worn the other colors to go out but I would for an event. As you can see from the swatches four of the colors are matte and the other four have shimmer in them. The black is really chalky and it rubs out when blending with a brush. To make it work, it has to be layered on and then blended out with your finger. The remaining of the colors are fabulous and great to work with. You can use the colors however you wish but I'm gonna highlight you on how I make use of the palette.

The brown is close to my skin tone and I only use it above my crease. The reason why I place it above my crease is because my eyelids are hooded and it gives an effect as if my crease is higher or shall I say it creates another crease for me. If you have hooded eyelids you may try this trick too. The most suitable place for the white eye shadow for me is on the tear dot. It makes you look more awake and brightens up the eyes. Off and on the gold shimmer also goes on my tear dots depending what other color I'm wearing on the eyelids and I also like to place it on my brow bone. The other colors belong to my eyelids.

Now let me explain how I did the eyes. For the first look, I added the brown above my crease and did so for all of them. Then I place the first color in the palette to the inner 2/3 of my eyelid and added the black to the outer part very lightly and blended out. I wanted a very soft smokey eye look but if you like it more intense then feel free to add more of the black. The white was placed on my tear dot and I placed the gold shimmer onto the brow bone and voila! Oh and I did my eyeliner, line my waterline and added mascara. Eyeliner really does spice up the eyes even when using it alone.

Onto the second look, again, I added the brown on top of my crease and then the blue to my eyelids. Now, if you desire to add the black on the outer third of the eyelid to build a smokey eye then proceed. I tried it and I looked like a racoon. However if you wear fake lashes then it will even out the eye shadow. I highlighted my brow bone with the gold shimmer and put the white on my tear dot. I lined my waterline with a nude eyeliner, did my winged eyeliner and added mascara to my top and bottom lashes.

As for the final eye makeup, it's done differently as you have seen. I blended out the brown over my crease. Afterwards, I layered on the black on the inner and outer thirds of my eyelids and lightly blended it with my finger. When I was pleased, I packed the fourth color from the eye shadow palette between the black and blended it also with my fingers. It is a nice-looking color I must say. Thereafter I highlighted my brow bone and tear dot with the gold shimmer for this look. I lined my waterline, again, with a nude eyeliner. For my lower lash line, I combined a black eye liner and the black from the KLEANCOLOR Your Highness Eyeshadow - High Maintenance - Smokey-Shimmer-Matte palette and then smoked it out. I did no winged eyeliner seeing that I had enough black on my eyes. I coated on my mascara and I'm done.

I'm addicted to the KLEANCOLOR Your Highness Eyeshadow - High Maintenance - Smokey-Shimmer-Matte palette. It's pretty small in person but it's worth the price and it gives me the look I desire. Do I recommend this? Yes, I do and you have no problem getting it because Beautyjoint.com ships worldwide and you can also view and make purchase of other products on the website.

Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette Review

Now I know that every high end makeup catches your eyes like the Urban Decay naked palettes or the new Tartlette palette. The thing is these pricey palettes have the colors that you're interested in and most of the eyeshadows are matte. You sure can get carried away in buying those expensive eyeshadow palettes where as you can buy tons of cheaper eyeshadows with the same cash spent. Surely, you will think "But is it pigmented?" or "Does it blend as well?" My answer to you is most of the cheaper eyeshadows, most of the times, have better quality and yes, you can blend all you want honey. There's quite an amount of beginners out there who are searching for an eyeshadow palette with a variety of colors and also at a great deal.

Are you in need of an eye shadow palette but you're on a budget? I've always wanted one. Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette will fulfill your wish. This palette simply replaces most of the high end eye shadow palettes. Coastal Scents is known for their eyeshadows very well as well as makeup brushes/sets, contour palettes and the good news is the prices are extremely affordable. For my beauties on a budget get yourself to the Coastal Scents website and start shopping ASAP. You won't regret a penny spent. After buying this palette, you won't ever have to worry again about buying another eyeshadow palette. It's a great palette to play around with. I've used the palette two to three times and I am impressed so far.

                                                      Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette

The Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette consists of a variety of colors from the brightest to the darkest. If you favor a neutral eye look for work on Monday, the colors are there or if you want a bright bold eye makeup for the summer just look in to your Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette. Most of the colors are a matte finish while a few of them have a shimmer touch to it. The shimmery ones are wearable for an everyday wear.. A mirror is attached to the palette and it also come with two foam applicators, which mostly comes with all eyeshadow palettes. They are useless to me since I'm not a fan of them. I use my makeup brushes or sometimes my fingertips.

The colors are highly pigmented but I must say as for the lighter shades at the top you might have to use your fingers to apply onto the eyelid since they are of a chalky texture. It's not very applicable with a brush. Also can apply them wet or use a primer on your eyelids before applying it. I haven't tried doing those solutions but after doing researches, that's what I've came up with. It's simply a hit and miss palette. I know there are some you of out there that choose the bright colors but me, I go more for a neutral or smokey look.  As for the price of it, it's just right for your budget. It's available on the Coastal Scents website right now for just US$10.95. If you plan on going somewhere and wish to take the palette with you, the case is very light and it will fit just as a thin book in your baggage.

I recommend you get this palette after exiting this blog. You won't regret it afterwards especially if you're a beginner and most beginners are on a budget. Purchasing Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette will save you money from buying many other makeup palettes because of the range of colors it has.

Lip Combo - Best For Brown Girls

Looking for pink lips to match your skin tone? Don't worry. I have you covered. NK auto lip liners will be your best friend on your go to days, particularly on the days you want to wear pink lips. I have purchased NK lipsticks in the past and I must say they are pretty pigmented so I decided to experiment on the lip liners. The combination that I use will give you the right fushcia lips for a brown girl. The pigmentation of the auto lip liners aren't a hundred percent there but it works. I have dark pigmented lips and that's mostly why I created this combination because the lip liner just doesn't go well for me with only one of them.

I purchased these NK auto lip liners from a local beauty supply store and it is extremely affordable. The cost of one is $GYD400 ($US2.00). I got them in the colors Deep Pink (AA31) and Red (AA18). Honestly, I bought them to wear under lipsticks but then I just stared wearing them alone cause it looks just like lipstick. The finish off the lip liner is semi-matte but u can make it completely matte if you'd like. Visit my post that will demonstrate you how to make your lipstick matte and you can use for the liner too. They go on very smoothly onto the lips, like butter. It will come off after eating and drinking but it does leave a stain behind so no worries. Reapply if you chose to.

Before applying the lip liner, I moisture my lips. I recommend you to always moisture your lips before applying any lip product. Afterwards, I line my lips with the red auto lip liner and fill in my entire lips with it. Next, using the deep pink auto lip liner I place it on top of the red on the complete lips. Sometimes I go back in the with the red to line my lips just for a little definition or I leave it as it is. Whatever my mood is on the day I wear this combo, I either top it with a lip gloss, make it matte or stop right there after applying the pink lip liner. It's also your choice to use the pink lip liner first and then the red as for me it looks too pink for my skin tone but you can give it try. Experiment and see what you like.

My Go To Foundation - LA Colors Liquid Makeup

LA Colors is one of my favorite makeup brands. Their product quality is amazing for a drugstore brand. I've bought lip liners, lip gloss, lipstick, nail polish also foundation and I must say I'm pretty impressed with them. For a beginner in makeup, I would suggest you to purchase makeup from that particular brand because of the cost. They have released a lot of new products lately and I'm hoping to try them out soon. I've been using their liquid makeup foundation for two years and for sure I will continue to do so. Do you want to know why?

                                                          LA Colors Liquid Makeup (Tan)

LA colors liquid makeup is very very very very cheap. It's the cheapest foundation I've known so far and I don't think any other foundation can be cheaper than this. Not only is it inexpensive but it's great quality. It's just the right foundation for a starter. You don't even have to worry about the difficulty to find your shade to match your skin tone since it comes in a range of nine different shades. I am in the shade tan and most of who you have olive skin tones I guess can use that. Even though your shade is not there you can purchase the amount of your choice to mix to match your skin tone since you don't have to think twice about the price. That rhymes, right?

However, it doesn't last all day maybe 6-8 hours. Living in a heated country it's kind of tough wearing foundation here but I make it work somehow. The foundation is very light weight and have a light coverage also. You can build it up to how much you like. I only use one layer and I apply it with a brush or a beauty blender. The consistency is very thick. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it to persons with acne/acne scars because of the light coverage it has. My face does have acne scars but I don't mind for the reason that I just wanna look made up. Besides, I like showing my acne scars for some reason. I will tell u that I sweat a lot around my mouth area so the foundation usually separates there and a little under my neck. Normally, I have a tissue with me and I blot wherever I perspire, apply some powder and I'm perfect again. After applying the liquid makeup, it will be sticky on your face so do set it with powder.

Purchase it, try it, send me a feedback on your thoughts about it.

Make Your Lipstick Matte!

Matte lipsticks is the new trend at the moment for quite a while now. Personally, I am a huge fan of rocking matte lips especially because of the advantages it have. Majority of matte lipsticks doesn't transfer and the lasting power is amazing which I've always looked for in lipsticks. However, they can be drying on your lips. But who said you have to go and purchase one just because everyone else is? Liquid lipsticks can be quite expensive, particularly if you are a beginner or on a budget like me. Therefore, today I'm gonna share with you how to make your glossy lipsticks matte right at home. I'm pretty sure you have lipsticks hiding somewhere in the drawer. Bring them back to light! Your lipsticks and baby powder is all you need to mattify your lipsticks. These items are already at hand so no need to think about spending which is astonishing!

Before

                                                                            After

Firstly, I like to line my lips with a lip liner, the similar color of the lipstick, and apply my lipstick after for a more define look but you can absolutely skip lining your lips. Afterwards, I set the lipstick with the baby powder using a brush or my fingers. If you have translucent powder available feel free to use it instead of the baby powder. When setting the lipstick with powder, use a patting motion for better results. Another thing is do not place a huge amount of powder. Begin with a small amount and apply it little by little until all the glossiness is gone. Ensure that the powder is completely patted into the lips A little tip is not to rub your lips together after applying the powder as the lipstick will become messy. The taste will not be pleasant on your lips as it is powder but that's fine unless you have a habit of licking your lips. Also the color of the lipstick you are using will change to a lighter color because of the powder. The advantages are the same as any matte liquid lipsticks you would purchase except that it may tend to wear off if you plan on eating.

I've seen tissue being used to turn lipsticks matte also. All you have to do is get a sheet of toilet paper or any soft tissue and blot you lips. Also you can use a brush and pat on some baby powder onto the tissue while it is placed on the lips. That works too but the lipstick slightly transfers.

I've once purchased Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick and worn it for 10 hours and I must say I was very impressed. The lasting power was amazing and it didn't dry out my lips at all. Although it was quite expensive for me to purchase, especially when it's converted to Guyana Dollars, I don't regret buying it. Try out these steps and give me a feedback on how you like it. Take care!

No More Chapped Lips

Dry lips can occur because of numbering reasons such as shortage of moisture, dehydration and on top of that, the weather. It looks quite unattractive and can be painful especially when eating acidic foods. There are many home remedies that you can try to cure your dry, chapped lips but just give this product a test that I've been trying. I have always experienced hardship with cracked lips. My skin is dry and so is my lips. I've always had dried and chapped lips and tried everything on the market and every home remedy possible but nothing seems to help. My lips would peel to the worse sometimes that I am ashamed to leave the house for the reason of how noticeable it can be. Lipstick wouldn't cover it up at all but cause it to be visible more. I can jabber round the clock concerning this topic and how much I struggled for a cure. Fortunately, I was out shopping last week when I came across moisture therapy intensive healing and repair lip balm by AvonIt have been the best day in life ever since. Go and get yourself one of these lip balm ASAP! Why? Because your wish of having smooth, soft lips have finally been granted.

Your lips will be kissably smooth. This lip balm is ultra hydrating and super moisturizing for your lips. It is very lightweight, have no fragrance and no taste. Better yet, it is extremely affordable and available about anywhere. I purchased mine from my local beauty supply store (Venu Shopping Centre) for just GYD$180 (Just under US$1). I've been using it for a week now and trust me the results are amazing. As I applied it to my lips I felt a difference right away and now it's by my side 24/7. Before applying any lip product to my lips, I assure that it's moisturized fully well with this lip balm. I see myself repurchasing this lip balm and I don't have a single thought of discontinuing it. Avon has never let me down in the past with their products and I will certainly continue to support them in the future.

I totally recommend this product to every person and you should suggest it to others too. One doesn't have to have dry lips to use it either as it will retain the softness and smoothness of the skin. Some will say it works as some may say it does not. If it doesn't work for you, then it may be because of the ingredients or the formula. Yet, don't think twice of purchasing it seeing that how inexpensive it is.

You can purchase this product directly from Avon, on Amazon or any of your beauty supply store.

Baby Oil Is Your New Makeup Remover.

Hello my beauties! Today I'm going to discuss with you why you should start using Baby Oil as a makeup remover. But, first, let me give a brief introduction as to who I am. I am a typical brown girl who lives in the beautiful land of Guyana. Guyana is a tropical country found in the continent of South America which consists of six different races and as for me, I am an East Indian! I am also a happily married woman to my wonderful Prince Charming. Okay, okay, I think that's enough for now. Let's get into business. My blog will enlighten you beautiful ladies about makeup and beauty and as you can tell by the name of my blog I am a makeup addict and I am sure most of you ladies are! Makeup for most of us is like a work of art, especially when it comes to that winged eyeliner.

When I introduced myself to makeup I didn't take it as serious as now. I was only 15 when I became a beginner and my makeup routine as a beginner was some face powder, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss and I'm done. But as the time went by I wanted to add something more to my face and fortunately at the set time I was gifted the Victoria Secret Ultimate Studio Makeup Kit. That kit consists of everything you need for makeup except for foundation and concealer. The eyeshadows are what made me love the kit more because the colors are just right for me. Some days I would be in my room experimenting and playing around with the eyeshadows. But what did I take it all off with when I'm done?

The first makeup remover I got was by DICKINSON'S. It has a very mild scent, takes off my makeup completely but when it gets into my eyes it burns so bad. I'm not sure of the price of it but I'm definitely sure that my new makeup remover, Baby Oil, is much affordable. Now let me tell about my skin. I have really dry, flaky skin and living in a hot country makes it worse for me. My dry patches can be noticed when I wear makeup. If too much of foundation and powder is applied to my face it gets cakey which makes me go crazy. I would prefer having oily skin rather than dry skin. I've been using baby oil to moisturize my skin and also as a makeup remover.

Baby oil is basically mineral oil and perfume. Persons are afraid of using mineral oils but you should do that they are refined and purified when it is used for skin care products. Obviously, if it wasn't safe, mothers wouldn't be using it for their babies and also themselves. Baby oil is available everywhere in the world and very inexpensive. I bought mine from my local beauty supply store. Of course you don't have to get the exact one I got. There's Johnson's, Lander and other brands supplying baby oil. This oil works for all skin type usually if you have dry skin like me then start substituting your makeup remover with baby oil. When the day is up and you're back at home, tired and ready to remove your makeup grab yourself a sheet of toilet paper or any soft tissue and pour a few drops of baby oil onto it. Trust me, a little goes a long way. Certainly, if you are using toilet paper, more than one sheet will be used. Rubbing the toilet paper/tissue in circular motions on your entire face it will become oily but look at again. What happened? Where did your makeup go? Magic! It's all gone. You can repeat the step again until your face is absolutely clean, Wash your face with soap or any cleanser and apply baby oil onto your face again to keep the moisture. If you are heading into the shower after removing your makeup then don't hesitate to lather your skin right after shower to keep that moisture in your skin, mostly if you are experiencing dry skin as me.
