KLEANCOLOR Your Highness Eyeshadow - High Maintenance - Smokey-Shimmer-Matte.

#Makeup is one of the all time trends these days and we all want to be in time and upkeep ourselves with the ongoing trends. If you think about it, makeup can really make you go broke if you're looking onto the expensive brands. Trust me, sometimes the cheaper brands are way more worth your money than Mac and all the other higher end brands. The dollars you can spend on those costly makeup lines, you can purchase yourself a full face of makeup from the drugstore with it. I'm a makeup addict but one that's on a budget and when affordable makeup products comes my way I make sure I get a good hold of it. I don't really own any expensive makeup. I don't see a reason to waste tons of money on them when I can achieve the same look with cheaper items.

The eyes are the windows to your soul so make sure they look the best. Now what can we add to our eyes to make them stand out? Eye shadow! It surely does enhances the look of the face especially when rocking a full face of makeup. There are all the colors in the world of eye shadows, all brands and all prices. But can you afford them all? I'm sure as hell I can't. I love eye shadows but I don't go too crazy with it. Just simple and enough to add a little glam.

Ever heard of a drugstore makeup brand by the name of KLEANCOLOR? They have all the makeup needed for the face from foundation to lipsticks to eye shadow. Their prices are really cheap. Today I am going to review and I also did eye makeup looks from their KLEANCOLOR Your Highness Eyeshadow - High Maintenance - Smokey-Shimmer-Matte. It has 8 magnificent colors that goes with any skin tone and that's more than enough colors you need to create more than one glam look. As much as I love makeup I rarely use it. Believe it or not that stuff goes on my face once a week or sometimes once in two weeks. Unbelievable! I know! It's a good thing though because I don't have to be investing in makeup all the time. This palette have been surviving with me for a year and seems like it will go another with using mostly the three same colors all the while. The cost of this palette is only US$2.99(GY$600) and you can get it right now at Beautyjoint.com. I did swatches of all the colors and created some looks below.

Swatches of all 8 eye shadows

Don't judge my eyebrows and if you are a fan of wearing false lashes then that would intensify the look more. I just don't like to go overboard that's why I rock my own lashes. And besides the first picture is my all time look and false lashes are not needed there. I have never worn the other colors to go out but I would for an event. As you can see from the swatches four of the colors are matte and the other four have shimmer in them. The black is really chalky and it rubs out when blending with a brush. To make it work, it has to be layered on and then blended out with your finger. The remaining of the colors are fabulous and great to work with. You can use the colors however you wish but I'm gonna highlight you on how I make use of the palette.

The brown is close to my skin tone and I only use it above my crease. The reason why I place it above my crease is because my eyelids are hooded and it gives an effect as if my crease is higher or shall I say it creates another crease for me. If you have hooded eyelids you may try this trick too. The most suitable place for the white eye shadow for me is on the tear dot. It makes you look more awake and brightens up the eyes. Off and on the gold shimmer also goes on my tear dots depending what other color I'm wearing on the eyelids and I also like to place it on my brow bone. The other colors belong to my eyelids.

Now let me explain how I did the eyes. For the first look, I added the brown above my crease and did so for all of them. Then I place the first color in the palette to the inner 2/3 of my eyelid and added the black to the outer part very lightly and blended out. I wanted a very soft smokey eye look but if you like it more intense then feel free to add more of the black. The white was placed on my tear dot and I placed the gold shimmer onto the brow bone and voila! Oh and I did my eyeliner, line my waterline and added mascara. Eyeliner really does spice up the eyes even when using it alone.

Onto the second look, again, I added the brown on top of my crease and then the blue to my eyelids. Now, if you desire to add the black on the outer third of the eyelid to build a smokey eye then proceed. I tried it and I looked like a racoon. However if you wear fake lashes then it will even out the eye shadow. I highlighted my brow bone with the gold shimmer and put the white on my tear dot. I lined my waterline with a nude eyeliner, did my winged eyeliner and added mascara to my top and bottom lashes.

As for the final eye makeup, it's done differently as you have seen. I blended out the brown over my crease. Afterwards, I layered on the black on the inner and outer thirds of my eyelids and lightly blended it with my finger. When I was pleased, I packed the fourth color from the eye shadow palette between the black and blended it also with my fingers. It is a nice-looking color I must say. Thereafter I highlighted my brow bone and tear dot with the gold shimmer for this look. I lined my waterline, again, with a nude eyeliner. For my lower lash line, I combined a black eye liner and the black from the KLEANCOLOR Your Highness Eyeshadow - High Maintenance - Smokey-Shimmer-Matte palette and then smoked it out. I did no winged eyeliner seeing that I had enough black on my eyes. I coated on my mascara and I'm done.

I'm addicted to the KLEANCOLOR Your Highness Eyeshadow - High Maintenance - Smokey-Shimmer-Matte palette. It's pretty small in person but it's worth the price and it gives me the look I desire. Do I recommend this? Yes, I do and you have no problem getting it because Beautyjoint.com ships worldwide and you can also view and make purchase of other products on the website.
