Soft Brown Eyes + Bold Lips

Are you the type of girl, like me, where some days you are feeling bold lips or just a simple, neutral color on your lips? Today, I wanted to rock a bold lip and I also wanted to share the tutorial on my eye makeup and also how I did my lips. And seeing that I'm on the topic I'm going to share a little tip for my girls. When wearing bold lips keep the eyes soft or neutral. Personally, both bold eyes and lips is going overboard on the makeup. It's either keeping the eyes simple and the lips bold or vice versa. I've used affordable and long lasting products to create this beautiful look on my eyes and lips. The brands and makeup I've used to achieve the makeup look below are L.A. Girl Endless Semi Permanent Auto Lipliner Pencil (337 Wine), Ruby Kisses Lipstick(Heartbeat), City Color Be Bold 3x Extreme Volume Mascara, Elf Cream Eyeliner and Coastal Scents 88 Original Eye shadow Palette. Believe it or leave it, you don't have a lot of work to do and you'll be done in no time. To myself, I get my foundation done first and then my eyes and lips. It's up to you if wish to get your eyes finish first and then move onto the face and lips. All the links will be listed down below from the sites that I have purchased all the makeup products from.

The colors I used are highlighted with the makeup brushes. Bottom, left is the lighter brown. Top, right is the bronzed shimmery eyeshadow. Bottom right is the black and next to it is the deeper brown.

Apply the lighter shade of brown above the crease and blend, blend, blend.

Then applied the darker shade of brown onto the eyelid.

Afterwards, blend the darker shade into the crease to get rid of harsh lines.                                                        From crappy to well done. Just look at how important blending is.

You're not done as yet. Place the bronzed, shimmery eyeshadow                                                     onto the brow bone and on the tear dot.

Apply the black eyeshadow onto the lower lash line and smoke it out(optional).
Line the water line and apply eyeliner to finish and mascara to top everything off.

Outline the lips with the the L.A. Girl Endless Semi Permanent Auto Lipliner Pencil. The shade
used is a bit lighter than the actual lipstick color. If darker shade of brown is reachable then use it.

Apply the Ruby Kisses matte lipstick and voila!

If the darker brown on the eyelid doesn't pop up true to color on the palette then apply a white base onto the lid or a concealer of the lightest shade available. You can use it to also make other eye shadow colors pop more.

A review was already done on the Coastal Scents 88  Eye shadow Palette. You can go check it out at http://lamakeupaddict.blogspot.com/2016/04/coastal-scents-88-original-palette.html
I've been using it a lot more lately and it seems as though the browns in the palette are much more easier to blend than the other colors. I'm looking forward on a tutorial using the brighter colors. It's not in my comfort zone but I'm more than happier to get out of it and create a few tutorials for persons who likes to wear brighter colors. I'm going to take the chance to review the products as well that I've used for this tutorial.

As for the L.A. Girl Endless Semi Permanent Auto Lipliner Pencil is something you must have in your makeup collection. I'd prefer it over a lipstick any day. I've bought it for $US2.00. It's finish is matte, which I love and it can be worn alone without lipstick or make the finishing touches with a lip gloss. It glides on creamy and it last throughout the day without a budge.

Listen, if you are looking for matte lipsticks at an affordable price then I suggest you get yourself Ruby Kisses Matte Lipsticks. It is available for as low as $US2.99. They have a wide range of colors available. This is the only color I've purchased and I must say I'm looking forward to bringing more home. It goes on smooth and creamy and doesn't dry out your lips. It is long lasting but it does fades out when drinking or eating. This particular lipstick can replace all the high end lip products. You can even buy all the colors without breaking the bank.

My favorite mascara of all time is the City Color 3x volume mascara. This is my first bottle that I've got and I'm thinking this is the only mascara I'll be using from now on. It makes my lashes looks so wow. The formula is long-lasting, it doesn't flake when in application. The mascara wand is curved and the bristles are placed extremely close. This will comb through your lashes thoroughly and fan it out. You won't have clumpy-looking lashes. I like to use the inside part of the curve to place the product on.

My final review is on the Elf Cream Eyeliner. It comes in a few range of colors and I have it in black. It's not waterproof but it's long lasting. I like to set it with black eye shadow. It glides on like butter and dries relatively matte. It doesn't flake or have any fall outs when applying. I've own this for quite a while and doesn't show any sign of drying up in the container. It also comes with its very own brush to apply the product. I experience no problem with the brush but some people might because of the size of it.
