Baby Oil Is Your New Makeup Remover.

Hello my beauties! Today I'm going to discuss with you why you should start using Baby Oil as a makeup remover. But, first, let me give a brief introduction as to who I am. I am a typical brown girl who lives in the beautiful land of Guyana. Guyana is a tropical country found in the continent of South America which consists of six different races and as for me, I am an East Indian! I am also a happily married woman to my wonderful Prince Charming. Okay, okay, I think that's enough for now. Let's get into business. My blog will enlighten you beautiful ladies about makeup and beauty and as you can tell by the name of my blog I am a makeup addict and I am sure most of you ladies are! Makeup for most of us is like a work of art, especially when it comes to that winged eyeliner.

When I introduced myself to makeup I didn't take it as serious as now. I was only 15 when I became a beginner and my makeup routine as a beginner was some face powder, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss and I'm done. But as the time went by I wanted to add something more to my face and fortunately at the set time I was gifted the Victoria Secret Ultimate Studio Makeup Kit. That kit consists of everything you need for makeup except for foundation and concealer. The eyeshadows are what made me love the kit more because the colors are just right for me. Some days I would be in my room experimenting and playing around with the eyeshadows. But what did I take it all off with when I'm done?

The first makeup remover I got was by DICKINSON'S. It has a very mild scent, takes off my makeup completely but when it gets into my eyes it burns so bad. I'm not sure of the price of it but I'm definitely sure that my new makeup remover, Baby Oil, is much affordable. Now let me tell about my skin. I have really dry, flaky skin and living in a hot country makes it worse for me. My dry patches can be noticed when I wear makeup. If too much of foundation and powder is applied to my face it gets cakey which makes me go crazy. I would prefer having oily skin rather than dry skin. I've been using baby oil to moisturize my skin and also as a makeup remover.

Baby oil is basically mineral oil and perfume. Persons are afraid of using mineral oils but you should do that they are refined and purified when it is used for skin care products. Obviously, if it wasn't safe, mothers wouldn't be using it for their babies and also themselves. Baby oil is available everywhere in the world and very inexpensive. I bought mine from my local beauty supply store. Of course you don't have to get the exact one I got. There's Johnson's, Lander and other brands supplying baby oil. This oil works for all skin type usually if you have dry skin like me then start substituting your makeup remover with baby oil. When the day is up and you're back at home, tired and ready to remove your makeup grab yourself a sheet of toilet paper or any soft tissue and pour a few drops of baby oil onto it. Trust me, a little goes a long way. Certainly, if you are using toilet paper, more than one sheet will be used. Rubbing the toilet paper/tissue in circular motions on your entire face it will become oily but look at again. What happened? Where did your makeup go? Magic! It's all gone. You can repeat the step again until your face is absolutely clean, Wash your face with soap or any cleanser and apply baby oil onto your face again to keep the moisture. If you are heading into the shower after removing your makeup then don't hesitate to lather your skin right after shower to keep that moisture in your skin, mostly if you are experiencing dry skin as me.
